O.A.U.K. - North West Area Gujarati School

Gujarati school has been running since 1975. It is run by a team of teachers and support staff along with our volunteers. Its aim is to provide an environment for children, where our culture and language is promoted, and where children develop self-esteem and have an opportunity to socialise with others.

The school not only teaches Gujarati but also teaches dancing, harmonium and tabla to broaden their cultural knowledge. A religious or variety programme also takes place once a year where the children demonstrate their various talents on stage. This proves to be highly successful and is enjoyed by all those who attend. Diwali cards are also made and displayed at Oshwal Centre by the children during diwali celebrations. A Funday with a picnic is also organised at the end of each school year by our GCSE students.

The school caters for Balmandir at the age of 4 ½ years, up to GSCE level. The school is proud to admit that it achieves a 100% pass rate of grade A*-C in GCSE.

The school is located in Wembley High Technology College , East Lane, North Wembley and operates every Saturday morning from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
